There are four requirements:
1 – All KDWP boating and fishing regulations apply. Go to ksoutdoors.com/Boating for details.
2 – All vessels must have a current city-issued boating permit displayed on the starboard side of the boat. Permits can be purchased in person at City Hall or Adam’s Lumber & Homestore. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and CFAP activities are excluded.
3 – A current and valid Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) certification is required to purchase the City Permit. Go to KDWP ANS certification course to complete the online certification course.
4 – Proof of successful completion of KDWP Council Grove Boater Safety Course are required to purchase the City Permit.
